Welcome to FontEqual! My name is Piotr. I am the creator of this project and a typography enthusiast. I built and trained a custom machine learning model from scratch to act as a highly accurate font identifier and font recognizer from images and graphics online.
Graphic design is becoming increasingly popular, but identifying a specific typeface from an image has always been a nightmare for designers. My mission is to automate and streamline this process as much as possible.
I have built my own proprietary machine learning model that analyzes the intricate details of every letter. The font recognizer utilizes advanced multi-dimensional search, allowing me to instantly narrow down potential matches from tens of thousands of fonts.
Currently, I offer this font identifier tool for free as a web application. I am constantly expanding the font database with new commercial and free typefaces. Soon, FontEqual will become a fully-featured ecosystem supporting my own mobile application.
